Angela Tomaselli is a visual artist born in 1943 in Brezoi, Valcea. She is a graduate of the “Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Fine Arts of Bucharest, monumental art department (prof. G. Popescu, Simona Vasiliu Chintila, Stefan Szönyi, Costin Ioanid, Eugen Schileru, Adina Nan), studying from 1961−1967. She made her debut in 1969 at the Republican Exhibition in Bucharest. From 1967 to 1970 she was a curator at the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Galati, and since 1970 she has been a teacher at the Art High School of Galati. She has been a member of the Visual Artists Union of Romania since 1971.
