Introduction
Raneyhouse Art is an art collection and art conservancy located in Southern California with major focus on Nordic Realism and Modernism. Our commitment is to bring some of the highest quality artwork here from selected areas – mostly in Northern and Eastern Europe. This is an evolving collection. Over time the scope will be further refined as we make progress.
NOTE: The art collection is affiliated with the "Linda K Raney Family Foundation for the Arts", which provides grants to support the arts and lends selections from it's collection to qualifying institutions for research and exhibitions. To learn more go to the Website.

Your eyelids are becoming heavy. Your body feels weightless, like you're
floating on the perfumed clouds of a mid-nineteenth century Academic
painting. You have an overwhelming sense that your academic focus needs a change. You suddenly have an urge to explore artists from the Nordic countries. You will discover a plethora of artists that have not received the proper recognition they deserve based on their talent and accomplishments. You will devote yourself to their study and to promoting these artists at home and abroad. When I count to three you will awake refreshed and with an new sense of purpose.
